Report: Hazara motorway will be operational by end of this year

According to Pakistan’s national Highway Authority (NHA) Hazara Mororway, which makes part of the Burhan-Havelian motorway under the CPEC, is likely to be  operational by end of this year. It will serve as an important link connection between a number of CPEC routes on Southern side and the Karakorum Highway to the North, linking to China through Khunjerab pass. Development of roads in a number of parts of Pakistan under CPEC is improving connectivity and proving to be useful to locals proving job and business opportunities.

59KM Burhan-Havelian section of motorway making part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will cost 34 billion rupees.
