Report: Air China increased flights for Pakistan thanks to CPEC

Air China, a major Chinese airline, has recently announced to operate 7 flights per week for Pakistan on the Beijing-Islamabad-Karachi route.

Founded in 1988, the increase in flights is the result of the CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) projects that have provided a number of opportunities for both China and Pakistan.

According to Zhao Lijian, Ministerial Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy, CPEC progress gave prospects to Air China to widen its business in Pakistan.

CPEC has taken the political, economic and scientific relations between Pakistan and China to the next level, he added.
