Led by Ch. Muhammad Sadeeq, a delegation of UK Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry while visiting Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry intimated that they were planning to organize a “Made in Pakistan” Expo in UK in October 2018. The purpose of the expo is to promote Pakistani products in the Britain.
Pakistani community in UK wished to see a prosperous Pakistan as they had utmost love for it, said Muhammad Sadeeq on the occasion.
A delegation of UKPCCI was visiting Pakistan in order to take part in Karachi Expo and study its market since Overseas Pakistani investors in UK were eager to explore opportunities of joint ventures and investment in a number of sectors of Pakistan’s economy, he said.
Sheikh Amir Waheed, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that Pakistan and UK have lot of potential to increase bilateral trade from existing £2.5 billion to £3 billion. Both countries should facilitate exchange of trade delegations frequently in order to explore untapped regions of mutual cooperation, he added.
Pakistan was emerging as a potential market for business and investment thanks to CPEC, he stated. UKPCCI should convince utmost investors of Pakistan in UK to bring technology and investment to Pakistan in various areas of interest, Amir Waheed noted.
