Report: Industrial park to be established under CPEC at Port Qasim

 

According to a new report, 1500 acres of land has been acquired from PSM in order to set up an industrial park under the CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) at Port Qasim.

The industrial park will include a variety of industries including steel, auto and allied, pharma, chemical, as well as packaging and garments.

It is among 9 identified Special Economic Zones (SEZs) including Special Economic Zone at Mirpur, Rashaki Economic Zone, Boston Industrial Zone, Allama Iqbal Industrial City, Faisalabad, China Special Economic Zone Dhabeji, ICT model industrial zone Islamabad,  AJK, Mqpondas SEZ Gilgit Baltistan and Mohmand Marble City.
