According to a new report, the government has decided to launch the Long Term Plan of the CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) on Monday (today). The JCC (Joint Coordination Committee) has approved the LTP at the 7th JCC meeting held in Islamabad in November.
The LTP will expand the scope of cooperation in a number of new areas such as health, social sectors, education, economic field, infrastructure etc.
Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Planning and Development, will be the chief guest of the ceremony to be held in Islamabad. In addition, officials from the federal and provincial governments, representatives of the academia, business and industry as well as other fraternities will take part in the ceremony.
