CPEC: US firm to invest in Pakistan

According to a new report, a well established US based company has expressed desire to to invest Pakistan thanks to the opportunities offered by the CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor).

World Technological & Trade, a high level delegation of the US based international company, which is lead its Chairman, Dr. Robert Y.NI visited Intellectual Property Organization (IPO-Pakistan). Director General, IPO-Pakistan, Muhammad Irfan Tarar explained them Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) protection in Pakistan and welcomed them.

Dr Robert stated that his firm is interested in invest in the fields such as  Mining, Information Technology, Robotics and Pharmaceuticals and make the most of their expertise in these areas.

The vice president of the firm lauded the business environment of Pakistan. WTTI would like to take maximum benefit from it, he noted. He urged the world not to depict negative propaganda about Pakistan considering the business environment in the country had much potentials to attract foreign investment.

Nauman Aslam Sheikh informed the delegation about latest trade policy initiatives of the Government of Pakistan as well.
