Yao Ling, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, has said that Pakistan should include CPEC as a part of their national strategy. It would contribute a lot to the long term development and economic growth of the entire region.
ICCI in collaboration with Islamabad Institute of Conflict Resolution here in Islamabad organized a seminar on “CPEC: A Win-Win Project”. Being the chief guest at the seminar Yao Ling said: that CPEC is a win-win project for both countries. It would strengthen the two-sided relation between Pakistan and China. Pakistan is a reliable friend and we want to make it economically developed. Among 6 corridors the smoothly running project is CPEC, he added.
The President ICCI Sheikh Amir Waheed appreciated the role of Chinese leadership in managing CPEC and said Pakistan has stepped into a new age of long term business partnership with China.
While speaking to the seminar, Yao Ling said Pakistan should take real advantage from CPEC to attain expansion and growth. Pakistan’s corporate sector should take benefit form by Economic Zones set up by CPEC to explore the possibilities for joint ventures and long term partnerships with Chinese companies.
CPEC would take Pakistan to a new path of industrialization, mutual connectivity and jobs creation, he added. It would help Pakistan to overcome energy issues and would bring economic growth through the development of railway networks and roads, he noted.
