Establishment of ‘Pakistan- China Health Corridor’ suggested

Fazaia Media College organized a two days conference LIFECON-2018. While addressing to the conference The Vice Chancellor of Air University, Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Faaiz Amir suggested the need to establish Pakistan-China Health Corridor along with CPEC in order to maximize the two-way benefit between the two countries. The Chinese delegation, Co-Chairperson WHO High Level Commission on NCDs along with other health experts was also present at the event.


Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Faaiz Amir advised that Pakistan- China Health Corridor will surely prove to be real platform to strengthen the mutual cooperation in the field of health and sciences between the two countries. To capitalize from the existing opportunity initiation of joint ventures in health care sector is required, he added.

He further said:


“We need to harness bioengineering, information sciences, data analytics, and system engineering in order to resolve health care challenges.”


Dr. Sania Nishtar Co-Chairperson WHO High Level Commission for NCDs said:


“We need to focus on universal health system success examples like those in China, which can easily be adopted in our setup.”


The Vice Chancellor Air University said that the Belt & Road Initiative carries a lot of potential and opportunities to link and join the two countries in the vast avenues of health and sciences. He also admitted the fact that the China has the world’s best app operators available in the field of healthcare.
