Governor Sindh and Chinese Envoy discussed issues related to CPEC

During a meeting between Yao Ling, The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan and Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair a number of important issues were discussed that were related to CPEC. GS appreciated the friendly relationship between the two countries and stressed on the significance of CPEC for the regional development and prosperity.

While discussing the impact of CPEC on Karachi-a port city, he said the city holds unlimited investment opportunities. Muhammad Zubair stated: “It is also good to register growing interest of Chinese investors in Karachi.”

He further praised the and showed his trust in the commitment shown by Chinese leadership to bring the people of two countries even more closer.

At the meeting the Chinese Envoy showed his commitment to help Pakistan in capitalizing the investment opportunities. He said:

“We are keen to assist in the meaningful upliftment of the people of Pakistan”.

Both the Chinese ambassador and Governor Sindh recapped the fact that the projects being launched under CPEC are focused to empower the people of Pakistan and therefore a strong security will be provided to them in order to ensure their smooth development.
