last week, under the platform of Punjab Government’s Scholarship Program, the first batch of Pakistani students completed their two years Chinese Language Course from Beijing Language and Culture University.
A passed out student Aasma Raja from Jhelum said that the Chinese language has become second international language after English. Learning Chinese language would be helpful for good future, she added. She further added: “I am anticipating a lot of opportunities under the CPEC after returning to homeland.”
Another student Malik Usama Hameed expressed his views stating: ‘I have a passion to learn and teach Chinese language to further promote deep-rooted friendship between our two countries.’
A student Tanzeela said that learning Chinese language would minimize the communication gap and would make people more comfortable and friendlier towards each other. This course would enhance cultural exchange and would give the Chinese students gain an added advantage in attaining job opportunities in CPEC, she added.
