According to latest news, the HEC (Higher Education Commission) of CPEC has conducted a meeting to analyze progress of the current projects under CPEC. The need for establishment of an educational city in Gwadar as well as Govt. University Gwadar was the core focus in the meeting. The other points included the discussion on the increased employment opportunities because of CPEC project.
The meeting was headed by Lt Gen (R) Mohammad Asghar the Head of HEC of the CPEC unit and held in Balochistan University of Information and Technology Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS).
In the meeting the core focus was on the employment opportunities that CPEC would provide after its completion. It was said that it is very important to provide the technical training to the youth. It was said that there is a great need of the establishment of Govt. University Gwadar that will offer the best education as well as state of the art training programs and course for its students.
Dr. Ahmed Farooq Bazai the Vice Chancellor BUITEMS after appreciating the meeting participants expressed his views and said that the students and the youth of Balochistan are no less than anyone in the world. It is important to arm them with the best education and technical expertise to improve the economy and the quality of the local community of Balochistan, he noted.
