CPEC has opened new avenues of opportunities for the development of business sector in Pakistan

A latest news report, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, said that the steadiness of government’s economic policies is indicative of the regained confidence of the business community on the government policies related to develop the business community.

While talking to American Business Council delegation which was called at Prime Minister Office, he said that CPEC has opened the  new avenues of opportunities in Pakistan for the development private sector in particular and business sector at large. The President American Business Council, Kamran Nishat gave briefing about the contributions of the council for promoting investment and economic growth.

The delegation greatly commended the Pakistan’s Government’s determined efforts for the improvement of law and order situation in the country and setting a business friendly environment.  The President of the Council presented few suggestions that focused on enhancing confidence of the business community, reduction of input costs for creating friendly investment opportunities.

The Prime Minister added that Government has given a task to The Board of Investment to have coordination with the provincial governments for the business development. He also said that the rising economic growth trajectory shows that Pakistan has vast export and economic potential that needs to the capitalized. However, Pakistan still needs to put more efforts to achieve the increased economic development.
