A delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce Industry (RCCI) was called by Lt. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa, Commander Sothern Command. While talking to the delegation, Asim Bajwa said that CPEC will open the new vistas for
achievement of the sustainable peace, regional bonding and economic
the prosperity of the region.
He told that improving law and order situation in Balochistan is the
supreme priority of the government in this regard. Therefore Pakistan’s
army is supporting and providing assistance in capacity building and
training of police sector as well as other law enforcement bodies.
He endorsed that fact that CPEC has become a reality now and it
would act as a doorway to Afghanistan and Central Asia. He also
appreciated RCCI’s efforts for promoting the business activities and
stressed that the private sector should move forward to play their vital
the part in the economic growth of Pakistan.
The delegation also highlighted its agenda for the upcoming conference
that include CPEC and its far fetching impacts on the inter-regional
bonding, integration, and trade.
