According to a latest news report, the government has allocated Rs 486.726 million to upgrade the quality and services of the telecom sector to provide a unified service facility for CPEC in Gilgit Baltistan.
A spokesperson from Information Technology and Telecommunication told that that several development projects are ongoing that include ports, roads, connecting cities, dams, to lift the economy of the country.
The IT spokesman further told that the construction of Cross Border OFC System and Provision of Seamless GSM Coverage along KKH for CPEC project is also underway for attaining the international connectivity. One Belt One Road project of CPEC will also enhance and multiply the quality and services of the IT industry manifolds.
Therefore the Government is taking necessary steps to improve the exports of Pakistan’s IT industry and has offered multiple incentives to the IT industry in this connection.
