Report: China says good bye to 2 railway projects under CPEC

According to the latest report, Railway construction enterprise which is owned by China’s state wishes to conduct the initial feasibility study on Main Line (ML-II Kotri-Attock) and ML-III Rohri-Chaman railways tracks. The objective of this step is to complete these projects under CPEC.The ministry of railways said:

“Yang Jinjun, vice president China Railways Construction Corporation (CRCC) expressed keen interest in the projects during a meeting with Javed Anwar, chairman ministry of railways.”
In addition, tt also stated that the CRCC wished to carry out the projects under the CPEC. As per the statement, the chairman railways offered complete collaboration to the CRCC in the meeting.

The ministry said:

“The two organizations agreed upon cooperation under article 1 of Framework Agreement between Pakistan railways and its Chinese counterpart.”
