2,782 vacancies for CPEC security announced by Sindh government

According to the latest report, the Sindh government just announced around 2,782 for the security of the CPEC. The posts for the Fiscal Year 2018-19 are to be filled within the given time frame, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stated.

He also said while presenting FY 2018-19 budget in the Sindh Assembly that the provincial government had created 2,782 posts for the security of the mega project for training of crime branch, traffic and technical training for improvement of the units’ capacity. In addition, 11,259 posts of various ranks for Sindh police have also been created for which Rs5.712 billion has been allocated in the new SNE.

“With untiring efforts of law enforcement agencies and support of our brave people, we have been able to restore peace not only in Karachi but to the entire province. No doubt, street crime has not come to grip as effectively as it should have. However, I am hopeful that with the dedicated efforts of our law enforcement agencies this menace will also be eliminated with the passage of time”.
