According to a new report, the Ministry of Food Security and Research has formulated detailed policies to upgrade the agriculture sector of the country to gain the maximum benefit under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
These policies will mainly focus to enhance the quality of products according to international standards of the global trade markets. These policies will also aim to increase the yield of crops per acre.
In order to achieve this objective, the ministry of food will work out on the possibilities of tradable merchandises for the subzones alongside CPEC corridor and will perform a pilot testing to enhance the rural business.
The ministry will also conduct a series of training programs for the capacity building of the local rural entrepreneurs. This agricultural enhancement initiative will also work to introduce innovative ways for the quality production and harvest handling techniques. The investment portfolios will also be made to enhance the rural trade.
