According to a new report, CPEC Cultural Communication Centre is working under the Chinese Ministry of Education affiliated with multiple vocational institutes and universities of China. Under its ‘Talent Corridor’ scheme, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Cultural Communication Centre (CPEC CCC) will offer scholarships to 1,000 Pakistani students. The purpose of this scholarship is to help student attain vocational training. The program will kick start from this November in China.
While speaking about this new initiative, the Director General CPEC CCC, Echo Lee and CEO of St Xianglin Management and Consulting Company stated: “The students to be selected from across the country will be provided free tuition and dormitory during the training at different universities and institutes in China”.
She added that CPEC CCC is sited at China’s Suzhou Vocational University which mainly works on China-Pakistan student exchange programs, seminars, academic research initiatives and conducting cultural and vocational programs.
The one year vocational program aims to educate and train the selected students to operate and drive the outer space and high speed train technology in the first level. The students will also be taught about the education of the solar energy engineering and hydro-power technology for the middle level students. The lower level will include the education of driving different types of equipment and machines.
This vocational program will offer its students with 20 majors from higher to lower level classes. This program was also offered last year in which only 100 scholarships.
