Pakistan emerged as the world’s biggest supplier of football for the world’s biggest official football match FIFA World Cup 2018 while India has left behind far behind in the race of providing supplies particularly footballs to the European market.
The recent report ranks the performance of sports goods as China being on number one and Pakistan on number 2 spot. Pakistan and China’s sports goods are considered as best for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2018 that will be held in Russia.
Pakistan and China both have beaten India in the supply of footballs. Vietnam which is an unexpectedly a new player has overpowered India in attaining bulk orders.
According to recent reports provided by the football manufacturers, India has seen a severe fall in the orders for balls for the promotional and associated purposes for FIFA World Cup. Rattan Brothers is a seasoned maker of footballs and is a firm which has manufactured around 400,000 balls during last years.
According to Tilak Khinder, who is the export director Rattan Brothers, last year 80,000 balls were ordered for FIFA World Cup promotion. However, this order has been reduced to just 20,000 footballs this year which is a drastic fall India has faced.
