Pak-China cooperation improving under CPEC

According to a new report, H.E. Mr Yao Jing, the Ambassador of China to Pakistan, had a meeting with Dr Shamshad Akhtar, the care-taker Finance Minister. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss various issues of mutual interest under the CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor).

Dr Shamshad Akhtar appreciated the efforts of China in bringing economic stability to Pakistan. He shared Pakistan’s standpoint on FATF issues that were presented during the recent conference in Paris as well.

The Ambassador appreciated the efforts of Pakistan as well to resolve the problems it is facing at the moment with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
