Locals Can Get Maximum Benefits After The Establishment Of SEZs: Hassan Daud Butt

The Project Director of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in the Ministry of Planning, Hassan Daud Butt, said that CPEC’s said that Government have executed the first phase of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) have been started where the establishment of energy and infrastructure projects will be completed asap. He also said that now Government is focusing on establishing proposed Special Economic Zones (SEZs) which help the locals to get the maximum benefits from this mega-project. While talking about CPEC progress he quoted that the work on CPEC eastern and western routes will be completed by the end of next year.

 

 

Project Director of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Hassan Daud informed  about the CPEC progress. He notified that the first phase of CPEC which includes establishment of energy and infrastructure projects have been started and the  eastern and western routes of CPEC will be completed by the end of new year. He also quoted that Government is looking forward to start work on CPEC Phase-2 which included the establishment of Special Economic Zones (SEZs). Currently 9 different SEZs have been announced on different locations of the country.

 

While talking about the importance of SEZs he  said that, the establishment of SEZs will boost Pakistan’s economy. As, new industrial units would be installed in the country which will help to increase the trade activities across the country. The locals also can get maximum benefits from it. Further he said that CPEC would also help further increase in bilateral relations in various sectors including trade, education, and other social sectors.
