The annual conference on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will take place in August 2017. The business community of China and Pakistan will be invited to take part in the conference.
The decision about the conference was made in a meeting under the chairmanship of Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms. The minister directed high officials of the ministry that to make sure that the participation of the researchers, private sector, trade experts as well as industry and education. Pakistan’s private and production sector would be invited to display their products in the conference as well.
The conference’s participants would be informed about the progress made on CPEC projects, Ahsan Iqbal said. The CPEC conference would help in offering easy access to information regarding infrastructure, energy, industry and economic zones in Pakistan, he remarked. He continued that the countries which were hesitant to come to Pakistan are willing to invest in the country now. Thanks to CEPC.
