CPEC is emerging as a hot center for all sorts of investments from various countries. After the recent interest of UK in becoming a part of CPEC, we are getting new reports about other regions taking keen interest in CPEC.
According to reports from Muzaffarabad, the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have planned to create a tourism corridor in the valley to make it simpler for travelers to come to visit scenic spots in the area. This is another project that is going to be part of the CPEC.
According to a statement by President of AJK, Masood Khan, the tourism corridor will be almost 190 kilometres long and built “under the CPEC project”. The President unveiled this while addressing a deputation of investors that this project is part of a bigger project to lay down new roads in the region. The AJK government had estimated the cost of the infrastructure project and it would be around Rs.22 billion, he also told the investors.
