Govt to set up 46 Special Economic Zones along CPEC route

According to Board of Investment Chairman Miftah Ismail, the government is planning to set up 46 Special Economic Zones along the CPEC route.

 While addressing Pakistan-China Industrial Cooperation dialogue in Islamabad recently, he said that a working group will be nominated to determine how to build the zone.

Each zone will have its special features for investors with regard to its location, raw material, skilled work force and linkages with other parts of Pakistan and outside the country, Mr. Ismail noted.
