
Minister for Climate Change Zahid Hamid on Friday stated that Pakistan would take part in International Snow Leopard Conservation Summit (ISLCS) which will take place in August in Kyrgyz Republic. He said this during a meeting with ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan Erik Beishembievpaid.
He noted that the government is taking all steps for conservation of Snow Leopard. The population of snow leopard is rising because of the government’s efforts.
Pakistan and Kyrgyz Republic have brotherly ties, he mentioned.
The trophy hunting is the animal that the hunter keeps as a souvenir.
He stressed the need for increasing trade relations between both countries. He also noted that “Kyrgyz Republic is part of “one belt one road” it will help lessening distance and cost.”
