Report: Eid-ul Azha to be celebrated in Pakistan on 2nd September

According to a latest report, the moon of the Islamic month of Zilhaj has not been sighted in Pakistan and Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in the country on 2nd September, Saturday.

Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Munibur Rehman made this announcement after chairing a meeting of the committee in Karachi.

No evidence of sighting of the moon was received by the central and the zonal committees, Mufti Munib-ur Rehman noted. The first of Zilhaj will be on Thursday, he concluded.
