Report: China and Pakistan agree to enhance policy communication

According to a new report, Pakistan and China have agreed to increase policy communication and coordination in the emerging global and regional situation. It came during talks between Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua and Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister in Beijing.

There were a variety of consultations, which encompassed all areas of bilateral relations. These included defence and security cooperation, trade and CPEC.

China and Pakistan agreed to hold many bilateral consultative mechanisms.

In addition, regional and international issues such as the situation in South Asia and Afghanistan were discussed as well.
