Report: Pakistan-Australia Joint Trade Committee meeting will take place soon

Ms. Margaret Adamson, Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan informed during Pakistan Australia Business Forum in Karachi that Pakistan-Australia Joint Trade Committee meeting is soon be held with the objective to boosting bilateral trade and people to people contact between the Pakistan and Australia.

Consistent rise in gross domestic product and the bilateral trade between both countries enjoyed its fourth successive year of growth which is a milestone in maturing economic partnership, Australian High Commissioner noted.
Both the countries are moving closer in people -to -people relations as well, she added.

Ms. Leonie Muldoon, trade and investment commissioner South Asia, said on the occasion that expertise and use of technology from Australia is helping Pakistan boost the volume and value of meat production for local and export needs.
