Report: Pakistan and China will be strategic partners till 2030

Pakistan and China just revealed a long-term cooperation plan in economic development that envisions cooperation between the two countries until at least 2030 in various areas.

It is the first time that Pakistan and China have announced how long they plan to work together on the the CPEC.

Pakistan’s Minister of Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal (L),  and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing, attendws the launching ceremony of CPEC long-term cooperation plan held in Islamabad.

The document did not provide particular details on the projects like terms and conditions of investments and loans. In addition, it also did not disclose the details for Special Economic Zones.The long term plan highlighted key cooperation areas between Pakistan and Chinese including connectivity with a road and rail infrastructure, agriculture, information network infrastructure, energy, poverty alleviation, tourism and more.
