According to a new report, Sardar Masood Khan, the president of Azad Jammu & Kashmir State stated that the CPEC is a win-win project for Pakistan and China.
He made this statement during a seminar titled “CPEC and Azad Jammu Kashmir” organized by the University of Kotli in Kotli district of Mirpur division that took place on Monday.
He added that the project is a reflection of the strong relationship between the two countries.
The seminar was a part of a series of seminars to be held at public-sector universities of AJK in order to highlight the CPEC opportunities and challenges.
He noted that the CPEC should not be considered a substitute for the overall economic progress of the country but a great catalyst which will help to develop the national economy.
CPEC and the BRI would be essential for productivity, connectivity as well as promote a conducive environment for prosperity and build peaceful neighborhoods, he added.
