Babar Aman Babar: Gilgit Baltistan important for CPEC

Babar Aman Babar, Secretary Planning, and Development, Gilgit-Baltistan stated that the region was blessed with great natural resources and can play a key role in CPEC. He made this statement while talking to Chinese development experts, which included a number of investors and engineers.

He also shed light on the structural design of the economic zone as well as the hydropower to be produced along the river.

The delegation assured that GB will greatly be benefitted because of CPEC.

The two sides agreed to work on fruit, vegetables, herbs processing, packaging, storage, and marketing.
Other than the development of Special Economic Zone there was also agreement about technology transfer.
