According to the latest report, Nasir-ul-Mulk, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, was given a briefing about the development of Gwadar Port project launched under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Briefing was given in order to make the Prime Minister updated about the current progress of the fishery sector of Gwadar Port project which carries a huge potential to become one of the largest exports sector of Karachi city.
PM was told that many benefits have been offered to the concession holder for the establishment of the Gwadar Port. Issues which were impeding the development of the project were also highlighted in the briefing.
Prime Minister showed satisfaction and appreciated the work carried out by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs for the development of the fishery sector of the city.
