
According to a new report, Allauddin Marri, the Care-taker Chief Minister of Balochistan, stressed on the importance of the CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) to Balochistan. He said that Balochistan will benefit economically after the completion of the mega project. He made this statement while addressing a seminar.
In addition, Allauddin Marri also spoke about a water desalination plant that is to set up in Gwadar for the purpose of providing clean water for drinking to the residents of the city.
Consul General of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yu, Caretaker Minister Balochistan for Home Agha Umar Bangulzai, Hafiz Abdul Basit, Additional Chief Secretary (Dev) P&D, Rauhail Muhammad Baloch, Managing Director Balochistan Board of Investment & Trade and other officials were present on the occasion.
He further noted that the CPEC will help to improve the standard of living of the people of the province and also provide added job opportunities in the country.
