At the round table conference that was recently held on the role of SMEs organised by the CPEC Excellence Centre and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), the Minister of Planning, Development and Reform, Pakistan’s Shoaib Siddiqui, said that various countries look at Pak-China friendship with much envy. They are in particular envious about the mutual relationship of the two countries to ‘move forward’.
“People and governments of the two countries are standing like a rock and are determined to move forward.”
He also said that the interest of China in business in Pakistan is another issue and providing equal opportunities for Pakistanis is something else.
Ghazanfar Bilour, FPCCI President, said on the occasion that the mega project that is CPEC offers opportunity to Pakistan to develop its SME sector and secure employment for the youth.
