Turkey invited to join CPEC

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has invited Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan H.E Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul at Parliament House to discuss the friendly and historical relations between two countries.

The Speaker of National Assembly has said that heart of the people of Pakistan and Turkey beat together and both brotherly Muslims countries has always stood together in the times of need. Both Countries were tied in the bond of common religion, culture and history.

He said that both the countries have similar perceptions on regional and global issues and always support each other at regional and global forums. He also expressed that Pakistan was proud of its unique friendship with people and leadership of Turkey and wanted to bring the existing bilateral relations to new heights.

The Speaker humbly invited Turkey to join the mega projects of the CPEC to harmonize the trade and bilateral relations between both countries. He express that Pakistan highly values its relations with Turkey and the new government desires to further strengthen relations between Islamabad and Ankara. He mentioned that with participation in CPEC both countries can get maximum benefit from the Belt and Road Initiative of China.

Turkish Ambassador Ihsan also vowed to strengthen relations with Pakistan. He express his views in very good manners by saying that the Turkish people always consider Pakistan as their second home, and we wish to see this country always strong and prosperous.

Turkish Ambassador positively accepts the invitation for joining the CPEC and promised that he will discuss this in with the policy makers of his country.
